Laws Protecting Workers from Racial Discrimination

Several federal and state laws protect employees from racial discrimination in California:

• California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) – Provides even stronger protections than federal law, applying to employers with five or more employees and prohibiting racial discrimination in all aspects of employment.
